Kabaddi state level competition of CISCE schools of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand , which was going on for the last 2 days, was concluded at Jesus and Mary Convent School on Saturday 10-9-2022, with Rev. Fr. Shinoj (Zonal Coordinator), Fr. Alvin Pinto (Principal, St. Joseph's School), Mr. Jitendra Nagar (President, Gautam Budh Nagar Kabaddi Association), Mr. Ajay Sharma (Secretary, Gautam Budh Nagar Kabaddi Association) at the closing ceremony of the competition. Principal of the school Rev. Fr Rogimon Thomas and Manager Rev. Fr KK Thomas were also present. After winning the exciting matches going on for 2 days, today the final match between the players of Meerut and Ghaziabad took place in the under-14 category, in which the team of Meerut emerged victorious. In the Under-17 category, the teams from Ghaziabad and Bareilly made it to the finals. After a very thrilling match, the Ghaziabad team emerged victorious. The teams of Ghaziabad and Meerut were successful in getting place for the final match in the Under-19 category, in which Meerut's team became the winner. Rev. Fr. Rogimon Thomas encouraged the winning and runner-up team by giving them trophy medals and certificates and thanked all the colleagues who contributed to make the program a success. At the end of the program, Rev. Fr. Shinoj congratulated the selected players for the national level. The program ended with the national anthem.
