It’s the curiosity that leads to the grand openings“. The inauguration ceremony of our new auditorium cum examination hall at Jesus and Mary Convent School, Greater Noida,The momentous event took place on 30th July 2023 and it marked a significant milestone in the history of our esteemed institution. This occasion was graced by the most Rev. Dr. Raphy Manjaly - Archbishop of Agra, most Rev. Dr. Albert ‘d’ Souza - Archbishop Emeritus who were the chief guests. The much-anticipated moment arrived when the ribbon-cutting ceremony took place, symbolizing the official opening of the auditorium. The school management committee members, along with the chief guest and the Principal, jointly performed the ribbon-cutting honours amidst applause and cheer. The programme commenced with the blessing, ceremony and lighting of the lamp. Followed by the special prayer dance by JMC students and teachers, followed by the video presentation of the school’s history and achievement. Our distinguished guest Rev.Dr.Albert ‘d’ Souza deliverd a message to everyone, followed by honouring the dignitaries with traditional shawls. The staff choir presented a melodious song which lightend up the room within an applaud. Our most Rev.Dr.Raphy Manjaly , Archbishop Agra gave a message through which she congratulated the Jmc family. He also said that this auditorium come examination hall has added a feather to JMC’s achievements. He also emphasised on the needs of a great leader and expected that our school will produce some of them. Next followed a fabulous performance of dance drama presented by the students and staff of our school. The dance drama was from a noble prize book of Rabindranath Tagore “Geetanjali” . It depicted gratitude towards divine, unconditional love, how ego can destroy your personality, secularism in India, each Indian should enjoy independence and stand united. Last, but not the least the principal of our school Rev. Father.Rogimon Thomas delivered the vote of thanks. He thanked all the people who helped to plan, construct a beautiful auditorium cum examination hall. A special thanks to Rev.Dr.Raphy Manjaly ,Archbishop Agra who gave full freedom to transform the plan into reality. We firmly believe that this auditorium will further enrich the academic and cultural experiences of our students and strengthen our commitment in providing holistic education. Thank you once again for your unwavering support. We look forward to utilizing the auditorium for numerous successful events in the years to come.
