REGIONAL KABBADI TOURNAMENT 2023-24 State level competition of Kabaddi for CISCE schools of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, was held on 22.07.2023 at Jesus and Mary Convent School. Greater Noida. The Principal of School, Respected Rev. Father Rogimon Thomas and Vice Principal Sister Praveena were present in the closing ceremony of the competition. After winning the exciting matches going on for 2 days, today the final match took place between the players of Meerut and Ghaziabad in the Under-14 (Girls) category in which the Meerut team was victorious. In the Under-17 (Girls) category, the teams of Ghaziabad and Varanasi made it to the finals. After a very exciting match, the team of Varanasi emerged victorious. In the Under-19 (Girls) category, the teams of Ghaziabad and Meerut were successful in getting a place for the final match in which the Meerut team became the winner. In the Under 14 (Boys) category, the teams of Meerut and Varanasi were face to face in the final match in which the Meerut team became the winner. In the Under-17 (Boys) category, there was a tough competition between the teams of Ghaziabad and Lucknow to become the winner, in which the team of Ghaziabad was the winner and the team of Lucknow was the runner-up. Among the teams of Ghaziabad and Meerut that reached the final in the Under-19 (Boys) category, the Ghaziabad team was the winner. Respected Rev.Father. Rogimon Thomas encouraged the winning and runner-up teams by giving them trophies, medals and certificates and thanked all the colleagues who contributed in making the program a success and announced the players selected for the national level. The program ended with the national anthem.
