An auspicious tree plantation programme was organised in Jesus And Mary Convent School, Greater Noida on 22nd July 2023, under the guidelines given by the Uttar Pradesh government. It’s is an effort to create an awareness regarding climate change and its adverse effects on us. A range of almost 150 plants were planted in the school garden and Perifery of the school playground to make the students understand the importance of tree plantations. Students of classes 3rd to 8th actively participated and planted many floral plants, they also planted saplings of Neem tree, eucalyptus tree and those having medicinal properties. The programme took place under the guidance of our Principal. Rev. Fr.Rogimon Thomas and the eco-science club of the school.
