Report on Vidya Aarambh Ceremony || 2024-25
Jesus and Mary Convent School, Greater Noida, on April 2, 2024, conducted the Vidya Arambh Ceremony in the school campus, inaugurating the educational journey for newly enrolled pre-primary students.
Accompanied by their parents, the students were greeted at the entrance with ID cards and traditional tilak marks, followed by a sprinkling of flowers. Once seated, a ceremonial lamp was lit, and teachers led the singing of Vande Matram, encouraging both students and parents to uphold national values. Then the teachers then sang a prayer song, seeking divine blessings for the day.The welcome dance was then presented by the students showcasing their enthusiasm and creativity.
After this, our Guest Speaker, Mr. Agnelo Rodrigs, an experienced leader in institutional sales and events, delivered a thought-provoking address at the Vidya Arambh ceremony. He stressed the significance of cultivating a harmonious bond among parents, students, and teachers to pave the way for a promising future. His remarks echoed the essence of collaboration and mutual encouragement in early childhood education.
Following his presentation, the school's teachers imparted teachings from various religious scriptures to illuminate the minds and hearts of the attendees. A heartfelt expression of gratitude was extended to the Divine, the Guest Speaker, the Manager Father, the Honorable Principal, the Foundational Stage-in-Charge, all esteemed members of the Organizing Committee of the Vidya Arambh Ceremony, and the cherished parents of our newly enrolled students.
Our honourable Principal, Reverend Father Rojimon Thomas, took the stage to address the assembly, imparting vital insights on fostering collaboration between parents and teachers for the welfare of the students. The conclusion of the Vidyarambh ceremony was signified by the rendition of the National Anthem, following which parents and students were directed to meet their new class teacher, who serves as the initial guide on their educational journey.
